New Blackwoods Distribution Centre in Perth

In the booming state of Western Australia , a new Blackwoods distribution centre (DC) four times the size of the previous one has just opened its door sat 35 Baile Road, Canning Vale.

The new DC has an inherent flexibility very much in keeping with the company's commitment to getting the right products to the right place within the right timeframe.

Blackwoods supports The Fred Hollows Foundation

In March, 2010, Blackwoods announced its new partnership with The Fred Hollows Foundation.

Managing Director of Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety, Olivier Chretien strongly supports ongoing community engagement saying' I am pleased to share with you the Blackwoods plan to support The Fred Hollows Foundation's Indigenous Australia Program. We have established a multifaceted program which will result in an immediate and ongoing benefit for Aboriginal Australians assisted by The Foundation.

On behalf of Blackwoods, a donation has been made to help facilitate the provision of much needed resources and equipment which deliver health services to people in some of the most remote parts of Australia."

This initial corporate donation will be supplemented by a number of initiatives, including an ongoing fundraising contribution generated through sales of a select range of products - the Blackwoods 'Foresight Range'. Every time any of our customers selects one of our 'Foresight Donation' products, a percentage of the proceeds goes directly to The Fred Hollows Foundation.

2010 Catalogue Release

The much anticipated new Blackwoods Catalogue (2010 release) is about to arrive and promises to make it even easier for all sorts of workplaces to find the products they need.

Over 500 brands from more than 250 of the world 's leading manufacturers are categorised into a comprehensive, convenient and unique Blackwoods Catalogue format which now boasts over 1,500 colour pages.

Almost 25% of all the products in the 2010 catalogue are new to the range and with a number of completely new product related categories represented, the 2010 catalogue is a direct and timely response by Blackwoods to the requests of their customers to expand their distinctive offer even further.
